Most BioData’s are in Word format.  I would suggest that you use a PDF format.  Why?  A BioData in PDF Format will ensure that your data is not tampered with (intentionally or unintentionally).

PDF format ensures that no one can change/amend your bio data.  Because we send BioData via Emails; people who receive it try to make changes while reading it.  If they are not technologically aware, if they save the document while closing it – they end up saving the changes they have made.  Inevitably, if they forward this resume further – the recipient will see an amended version – which will be or won’t be good.

A PDF format also ensures that the formatting doesn’t go haywire.  It stays the way you want people to see it.

All you need to do once you have done your Bio Data in word is print it using a PDF Writer – the document gets converted to PDF.  The traditional way is to print the Bio Data and scan it in PDF format.  Which ever way you do it – it will help you in the long run.
